Professional Oversight
While our advocates are peers, they work within a professional framework, receiving regular supervision and ongoing training in ethics, confidentiality, and trauma-informed care.
Why Peer Advocacy Works
Teens often hesitate to open up to adults or authority figures. A Peer Advocate bridges that gap. By building trust through shared experience, we can effectively link youth to clinical services, improve school attendance, and increase family stability.
- Reduces hospitalization rates and crisis events.
- Increases engagement in traditional therapy.
- Fosters self-advocacy and independence skills.
